Graveside services for Charles James Ulrich, 64, 1422 W. Randolph, who died early today after a long illness, will be at 3 PM Friday in the Enid Cemetery. The service will be conducted by a reader of the Christian Science Church. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home.

Ulrich was born November 24, 1918, in Beggs. He received his schooling in Oklahoma, Texas and Arizona territories, and was active in the construction and automotive industries. He was also a veteran of World War I I, serving with the United States Army Infantry throughout North Africa, Sicily, Italy, Germany and Southern France.

On June 9, 1941, he and Lucy Mary Keosian were married at Haverhill, Massachusetts. She died March 11, 1969.

Ulrich was a member of the American Legion, Argonne Post No. 4, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and United Auto Workers Union.

Survivors include two sons, James "Jim" Willis Ulrich, California, and Charles "Chuck" J. Ulrich, Massachusetts; his mother, Martha Ellen Gierhart, of the home; and one half – sister, Irving Gierhart, of the home.
