Funeral for Arthur Ulmer, 80, 372 E. Cherry, who died Tuesday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness, will be at 2 PM Friday in Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dennis Wistrom will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.

Ulmer was born in Bookings, South Dakota, September 7, 1899, to George and Bertha Ulmer. He moved with his parents to Clinton in 1902, and then to the Enid area in 1918. For 23 years, he worked with Continental Grain Company.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Huffman, of the home, and Mrs. Katie Kerns, Enid; five nieces and two nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
