A graveside service for Mattie Harrett Tucker, 92, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Enid Cemetery. Jay Drawbridge, pastor, will officiate. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc. of Helena.
She was born May 18, 1914, in Sulphur to Louella Maxwell and Fredrick Lockhart Smith and died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, in Enid.
She moved to Carmen in 1920 where she was a resident of the Odd Fellows Children’s Home. She attended Carmen schools. She moved to Shallowwater, Texas, where she graduated from high school. She married Wiley Tucker May 4, 1955, in Mineral Wells, Texas. They moved to Enid in 1968, where they lived until he died in 1987. She then moved to Helena where she lived until moving to Kenwood Manor in 2003. Surviving are her niece, Billie Dick of Enid, who was also her caregiver.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Humane Society or Ross Healthcare Hospice.
