The funeral for Frances Anna Stewart Tucker, 79, who died Sunday, December 13, 1992, in Austin, Texas, will be at 2 PM Thursday at Henninger – Allen Funeral Home. Doctor Jerry Hilton, minister of First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 PM Sunday at Hope Presbyterian Church in Austin.

She was born December 16, 1912, at Drummond to William T. and Anna Stogsdill Stewart and was raised in that area. She graduated from Enid high school. On March 4, 1933, she married Clifford Arnold Tucker at Pond Creek. Besides living in Oklahoma, they had lived in Texas and Florida. Her husband of 52 years died in 1985. She had lived in Austin, Texas, since that time. She was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church in Austin, a life member of Kingfisher Chapter 40 of the Order of the Eastern Star, a past worthy advisor of Enid Assembly Order of Rainbow for Girls and a past mother advisor of Enid and Kingfisher Rainbow Assemblies.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas C. of Lafayette, Louisiana, and William A. of Austin; five grandsons; and two great – granddaughters.
