The funeral for Gilbert Cleophus Toliver Sr., 55, who died Sunday, December 20, 1992, in Los Angeles, will be at 2 PM Sunday (December 27) at Booker T. Washington Community Center. The Rev. Billy Mucker will officiate. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery, under direction of Russworm Funeral Home.

He was born June 9, 1932, in Enid and attended Booker T. Washington school. In 1955, he married Wanda Mae Manning.

Surviving are his wife; his mother, Laura Toliver of Enid; seven children, Richard Toliver of Coffeville, Kansas, Gilbert Stokes, Vickie Toliver – Orr, Cleophus Toliver Jr., Jeremiah Toliver and Jacob Toliver all of Los Angeles; three brothers, Jackson Toliver Jr. of Enid, Joe Louis Toliver of Los Angeles and JoWayne Toliver of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Jacquelinr Luckett of Houston, Texas, Beatrice Hazley and Betty Mack, both of Oklahoma City, and Lorean Drokes of Okeene; and eight grandchildren.
