July 25, 1936 - November 5, 2020

A Celebration of Life Services for Larry D. Timm, age 84, of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2020, at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with Rev. Clayton Stevicks officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family request everyone try to wear a mask.

Larry was born July 25, 1936, in Fairmont, OK, to Otto C. and Olive R. McKiney. Timm and passed away November 5, 2020, in Integris Baptist Hospital in Edmond.

He went to Fairmont schools and later Garber High School. He enlisted in the Navy in 1955 and was honorably discharged in 1959.

After serving in the Navy he worked for E.H. Holtzen Construction Co. building Government Flood Control dams in Bristow, OK, and there he met his future wife Patsy Sue Pinson (Pat). They married July 22, 1961, in Bristow. They were blessed with two sons, Justin and Shawn. He went to work for Vance Air Base in Enid in 1961, first as an aircraft mechanic's helper and later in the Egress Department. He retired in 2006 after 43 years of service.

Larry enjoyed working with wood, tinkering in the garage, yard work, listening to Gospel music, going to estate sales, and he loved the OU Sooners.

Larry was saved and baptized in 1971 at Faith Baptist Church in Enid. He was a charter member of Hallmark Baptist Church, where he served faithfully as a deacon, usher, and greeter. He was always available if anything needed to be done.

He is survived by his wife Pat; his sons, Justin Timm and Sheri and Shawn Timm and Brandy; two grandsons, Hunter Timm and Callen Timm; one sister, Phyllis Blaser; one brother, Herschel and Karen Timm; and several nieces and nephews and other family members.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, sister Barbara and brother-in-law Wayne Blaser.

Memorials may be made to Hallmark Baptist Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
