The funeral service for Kandace Kay Taylor, 31, will be at 10:00 AM Monday, May 7, 2012, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, with Pastor Lester Lowry officiating. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.
Kandace was born to Carmela Kay Taylor and Lawrence Maly on April 17, 1981, and died Thursday, May 3, 2012, in Enid.
Kandace was raised by her grandparents, Bob and Sondra Hays. She was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 16, and battled that illness her whole life. Kandace graduated from Enid High School in 1999, and then attended O.U. and S.M.U. in Missouri. She enjoyed playing board games, softball, and watching movies. Kandace loved her little dog Tuffy.
She is survived by her grandparents Bob and Sondra Hays of Enid; mother Carmela Taylor of Fort Worth; father Lawrence Maly of Enid; brother Travis Ritter of Mulhall, OK; aunt Cindy Presa of Enid; cousin Brandi and Jason Lange of Broken Arrow; and several other family members.
Kandace was preceded in death by a very special great-aunt Jorene Jones and great-grandparents.
Memorials are to Evangel Assembly of God Church.
