OBITUARY
The funeral for Grace Louise Nichols Sweeney, 81, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Henninger Allen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Richard R. Redinger officiating. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery. The casket will remain closed following the service.
She was born May 2, 1912 in Washington State and died Saturday, August 28, 1993 in St. Mary's hospital. She was a long time resident of Enid. She married Arthur Nichols in 1926 and he prededed her in death in 1975. She married Dee Sweeney in October of 1980. She was a long time member of St. Luke's Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Dee of the home; three daughters, Betty Nichols of Eugene Oregon, Joan Peterson of Enid and Linda Frieden of Oklahoma City; one son, Jerry Nichols of Irving Texas; three brothers, Art West of Tacoma Washington, William West and Robert West, both of Portland Oregon; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter.
