Mrs. George C. SMITH

Mrs. George C, Smith, 71, died Sunday morning at her home at 2111 East Maine, following a lingering illness.

A native of Indiana Mrs. Smith came to Oklahoma in 1907 and located in Drummond where she resided until 1921 when the family moved to Enid.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church and an active Sunday school worker until her health failed. She was also a member of W.C.T.U. and the Daughters of Union Veterans.

Survivors are her husband of the home, a daughter, Mrs. Avery Johnson of South Haven, Kans. a son, Roderick Smith, of South Bend, Ind. , four grand sons and one brother, Charles Wires of Amarillo, Tex.

Henninger-Allen Funeral is in charge of arrangments. Burial will be in the Enid cemetery.
