Funeral for Mr. Bobby Ray Shrum, 71, of Cleo Springs, will be 3 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2013, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Gary Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid cemetery under direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. He was born March 6, 1942, to Everitt and Dorothy Sunday Shrum in Tahlequah and passed away November 13, 2013, in Cleo Springs. He grew up and attended Tahlequah schools. He moved to Enid and worked for the city. He later worked for Mcory Tree Service then Mckee Oil and Gas Company. He then was a hauler and hot oil generator for D&S Saltwater before working as a contract oil pumper.

He loved to race cars at Enid Speedway in the early 1970s and placed in the top 10. His hobby was working on cars.

He is survived by his son, Bobby Shrum II of Enid; four daughters, Kathy Shrum of Enid, Sandra Farrell of Enid, Tammy Mayorga of Enid, and Ladonna Urtiz of Holtom City, TX; grandchildren, Robert Smith, Dennis Smith, Rodney Smith, Jessica Cassaro, Kimberly Wright, Cory Shrum, Cody Shrum and Raylynn Shrum, all of Enid, Domingo Ramirez, of Enid, Brenda Ramirez, of North Richland Hills, TX, Antonio Ramirez, of Edmond, Donna Martin, of North Richland Hills, TX, Margarit Mayorga, of Enid, Gary Shelite of Bison, Noel Urtiz, Saul Urtiz, Yasmin Urtiz of Halton City, TX; 24 great-grandchildren; one sister, Luceille Moore; and one niece.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, three sisters, several nephews and one niece.
