Laurie Ann Semrad was born January 7, 1967 in Enid, OK to Paul and Sherryl (Baer) Semrad and passed away August 5, 2018 in Enid, surrounded by family and friends.

Laurie graduated Pioneer High School in 1985. She then attended college in Tonkawa and OSU.

In 1985, Laurie married David Valtr. To this union, daughter, Tabitha was born. She later married Jeff Lorenz and welcomed three stepchildren. Later, she married Freddie Mack.

For over ten years, Laurie worked for Central National Bank. At the time of her death, she was employed with Garfield County Rural Water #5, where she had worked the past ten years.

Afflicted with rheumatoid arthritis at an early age, she was always cheerful and upbeat, never feeling sorry for herself. She was a real trooper, a great mother and wonderful loyal friend and daughter.

She was preceded in death by her father; stepdaughter, Candice Lorenz; uncle, Neal Semrad and several aunts, uncles and grandparents.

Laurie is survived by daughter, Tabitha Valtr of Claremore; mother, Sherryl of Bison; stepchildren, Jason Lorenz of El Reno and Kelsey Lorenz of Enid; sister, Dana (Keith) Cameron of Waynoka; nieces and nephews, Amy (Tyler) Melton of Alva; Kory (Braden) Young of El Reno; Ryan Cameron of Kansas City, MO; great-nephews, Mason Young and Myles Melton as well as her two beloved fur-babies, Roscoe and Pepe.

The funeral service will be 1:00pm Thursday, August 9, 2018 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Alan Siebel officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Memorials can be given to Oklahoma Arthritis Foundation with Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home acting as custodian of the fund.
