ENID — Graveside service for John William Seiler, 79, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, in Enid Cemetery with Father Rajesh K. Mankena officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
John was born to Mr. & Mrs. John F. Seiler on April 13, 1932, in Wakita and died Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, in Enid. John graduated from Wakita High School. He then served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Cummins Construction. John loved gardening, animals and loved to work.
He was married to Dovie Mae Seiler, and after her death, he was married to Waltena Cantrell.
He is survived by one son, Bryon Seiler of Enid; three daughters, Christian Cunningham of Texas, Lisa Hiebert of Arizona and Dana Buttler of Kansas; brother, Louis Seiler of Dallas; sister, Vereena Seiler of Kansas; and nephew, Ron Schwart of Enid.
John was preceded in death by two wives, Dovie Mae Seiler and Waltena Cantrell; son, Wayne Seiler; and three sisters.
