OBITUARY
Mrs. Ed (Eva) Schultz, 84, 1605 E. Maine, died early Sunday evening after a short illness. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with the Rev.. Kenneth E. Wade officiating. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery, under the direction of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
Mrs. Schultz was born Sept. 5, 1890, in Sedan, Kan. and moved to this area three years later, shortly after her father made the run at the Opening of the Cherokee Strip.
She and Ed Schultz were married Sept. 7, 1911, in Breckinridge and had lived in Enid since that time, except for a couple of years spent in Minnesota
Mrs. Schultz was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and of the Retired Fireman’s Auxiliary. Her husband died in 1956 and she was also predeceased by a daughter. Grace Irene in 1926, two sons, Raymond John and Richard Menon.
Survivors include a daughter Mrs. R.. J. (Sally Moline) Freeborn of Minneapolis, Minn. Six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Ed (Rubye) Brown of Enid.
