A Celebration of Life for Eugene Glenn "Gene" Schroeder is 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Gordon Jantz officiating. Burial follows in Enid Cemetery with the United States Army performing military honors. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Gene was born April 28, 1942, in Free Port, Illinois, to Irvin and Ruth (Davis) Schroeder, and passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017, in Enid.
Gene is survived by wife, Kaye, of the home in Enid; five children, Randy Schroeder and wife Vickie, of Enid; Larry Schroeder and wife Julie, of Enid; Terri Lynch and husband Brent, of Enid; Michael Schroeder, of San Antonio, TX; Philisha Young and husband Chris, of San Antonio, TX; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Bobby Schroeder and wife Connie, of Choctaw, OK.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Ruth Schroeder.
Memorials in Gene's name may be made to the North Garland Road Church of Christ Food Pantry, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
