Enid Resident Dies Saturday, July 25, 1931

Funeral services for W. B. Schram, 66, Monday in Enid funeral home

Services for William B. Schram, 66, were held Monday afternoon in the Schaeffer funeral home with Rev. E. W. Harrison of the University Place Christian Church, presiding.

Mr. Schram's death occurred after an illness of four months occasioned by a stroke of paralysis. He was visiting in Woodward at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. E. Meyer, Saturday, when his condition became serious and he passed away. After being brought back to Enid, the body was kept in state at the home of Arthur H. Schram, 705 E. Oklahoma, until the funeral.

Mr. Schram came to Oklahoma in 1893 and assisted his father in the hardware business in Yukon. Later he moved to Enid and became one of the early day grocers here.

He is survived by his widow and son, Arthur, of Enid; his daughter, Mrs. Meyer of Woodward; two step children, Mrs. W. A. Hart of Lawton, and Charles Kirkpatrick of Enid; and several grandchildren.
