The funeral for Jimmie Lee Sanders, 91, of Enid, will be 2 PM Tuesday at Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev.'s Carl Roberts and Terry Walborn will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.

She was born January 2, 1916, in Comanche to Ted and Mae Middleton Sprouse and died Thursday, February 15, 2007, at her home.

She graduated from the eighth grade at Stoner Elementary School near Comanche. She married James E. Sanders April 10, 1937, in Duncan. They moved to Kremlin in 1942 and two Enid in 1962. She was active in Women's Missionary Society and Willing Workers Home Demonstration Club. She attended Abundant Life Temple and Harvest Time Worship Center in Enid.

Surviving are her children, Sandra Crawford, Peggy Tipton and Roy Sanders, all of Enid; one sister, Alice Whitely of Duncan; nine grandchildren; 19 great – grandchildren; and two great – great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband James, one son, two sisters and two brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Ross Hospice of Enid or Feed the Children.
