Funeral services for Ellen Ruth, 88, who died Tuesday in a local nursing home, will be Thursday at 2:30 PM in the Darnall Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ray Bridgeman will officiate and burial will be in the Enid Cemetery with the Darnall Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, she moved from there to Blackwell in 1891. In 1929 she moved to Enid, and had lived here since that time. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Alvin Wilson, Enid, Arthur Wilson, Lamar, Colorado, and Jim Wilson, Altus; one sister, Dora Pishney, Deer Creek; a sister – in – law, Norma Sears, Dalhart, Texas; 16 grandchildren and 17 great – grandchildren; and five daughters, Pearl Galusha, Mary Lewman, Viola Melver, Juanita Green, and Mrs. Raymond (Norma) Brooks, all of Enid.
