Funeral services for David T. Ruhl, 72, St. Joseph's, Michigan, who died Wednesday in St. Joseph, will be Monday, 2 PM, in Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Myers officiating. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.
Ruhl was born in Russia, July 19, 1895, and came to the United States with his parents to Fairview as a child. He married Martha Epp in 1919 and they moved to Enid in 1950. In 1958 he moved to Michigan where he has lived since.
He was a farmer and carpenter and a member of the Church of God in Benton Harbor.
Survivors are his widow of the home; three daughters, Mrs. P. C. (Ella) Martens, Blaine, Washington, Mrs. M. R. (Evelyn) Smith, Enid, and Mrs. Lela Ruhl of the home; two brothers, Edward and Sam, both of Los Angeles, California; eight grandchildren and three great – grandchildren.
The casket will remain open until service time and remain closed following services.
