A Celebration of Life for Annie (Thibodeaux) Rowley, age 72, of Enid, will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at the graveside in Enid Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Annie was born September 6, 1948, in Kaplan, Louisiana, to Frank and Ada (Abshire) Thibodeaux and passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, in Enid.
She married Jerry Allen Rowley January 29, 1967, in Enid, Oklahoma. They had two sons, Hobie and Christopher. She was a loving mother, hard worker and a devoted firefighter's wife. She also worked at the Rowley Family Nursery and Garden Center for over 20 years. She and Jerry moved to Sulphur, Louisiana, in 1996, where she spent 17 years at Villa Maria Retirement Home as a caregiver, finally retiring in 2017. She loved to read and doing puzzles with her sister Dot Crochet. She kept in touch with her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and other family on the "FamBam" and Facebook.
She is survived by two sons, Hobie Rowley and wife Alishia, of Enid, Christopher Rowley and wife Misty, of Pottsboro, TX; nine grandchildren, Kevin and Shae`, Taylen and Corey, Bailey and Morgan, Mathew and Britney, and Braylyn; twelve great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ludray, Alvin, Roger, and Geno Thibodeaux; and one sister, Dot Crochet; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Jerry Allen Rowley; and brother, Michael Thibodeaux.
Memorial contributions in Annie's name may be made to Hospice Circle of Love, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
