Bert Rodgers, 84, Oklahoma City, and formerly of Enid, died Saturday evening in an Oklahoma City hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were at 2 PM today in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Theron Chick officiating. Burial was in the Enid Cemetery.

Rodgers was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Marie Bell Rodgers. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Alene) Cornelius, Enid, and Mrs. Harold (Lena), Gallwell, Dallas, Texas; three sons, Lewis of Palestine, Texas, Lloyd of Choctaw, and Luther of Mt. Clair, California; 13 grandchildren and 17 great – grandchildren.
