AGED PIONEER
PASSES AWAY

A. H. Reed , an old pioneer of Enid died at the Springs Sanitarium at six o'clock Tuesday evening after a lingering illness of several months. He was 86 years old and was an old soldier.

Mr. Reed came to this city many years ago. He made the run into the strip and filed on the land adjoining the townsite on the east part of Enid and three additions to the city bear his name.

Funeral services were held from the home 1101 East Randolph Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock with Rev. Munger of the Baptist church officiating. Interment was made in the Enid Cemetery.
