September 10, 1892 - November 5, 1945

John Merrill Rapp died Monday night at his home , 433 S. Garfield. He had lived in Enid since 1924 and was the operator of the Jitney Jungle grocery store.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Methodist Church with Rev. Fred Mesch officiating. Burial was to be made in Enid Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Elise, one son, Frank Homer pf the home; two brothers, Homer of Oklahoma City and Will, of Salina, Kans.; one sister, Mrs. Ed Gorman of Eldorado, Kans., and eight nieces and nephews.
