Imogene Lovelace Price was born Oct. 20, 1926, in Enid, to Leonard and Mae (Sanders) Lovelace, and passed away on Jan. 26, 2017, in Enid. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at Central Christian Church, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be at a later date in Enid Cemetery.
Imogene graduated from Enid High School in 1944, and Enid Business College in 1945. She married Wallace N. Price in 1948, and they had a son, Kim Price, and a daughter Nancy Price Simon. Imogene worked at Champlin Petroleum Company as executive secretary to vice president of Enid office. She was a dedicated member of Enid Desk & Derrick Club, and Chi Beta Study Club. Imogene was also a member of Central Christian Church.
Imogene is survived by her son Kim (Liz) Price of Enid, daughter Nancy Simon of Forest City, Arkansas; grandchildren Wendi Price of Washington, D.C, Brett (Laura) Price, of Stillwater, Russell (Erin) Simon of Wynne, Arkansas, Parker (Kindle) Simon of Rogers, Arkansas, Adam (Jerra Kaye) Simon of Lowell, Arkansas, and Holly (Chris) Bassham of Wynne, Arkansas; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son in law, David Simon.
