The funeral service celebrating the life of Bessie Lou Pack, 85, Enid, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Kevin Strope officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Enid Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2016.

She was born in Allen, Oklahoma, to James and Gertrude "Staggs" Sanders, where she was raised. At the age of 9, her family moved to Kremlin, where she has been ever since. On June 30, 1947, she married William Rogers Pack. He preceded her in death in 1990.

She was an active member in the community and donated to multiple charities in her area. She worked at Greenbrier. She also was a foster care mother.

She is survived by her sons, James Roger Pack of Enid, Robbie Ray Pack and wife Sharon of Enid, and Trudy Wainman of Enid; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, husband, four brothers and her sister.

Memorial contributions may be made the Hospice Circle of Love, with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
