Funeral services for Daymond Rex Myers, 70, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2006, at Henninger-Allen Chapel with the Rev. Tom Pullin officiating. Interment will follow in Enid Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
He was born July 16, 1935, the son of Paul and Margurite (McGugian) Myers in Enid, Okla., and died Sunday, July 9, 2006, at his home in Apache, Okla.
He was raised in Enid and attended Enid schools and graduated from Enid High School in 1954. He married the former Sherry Mitchell July 22, 1956, in Blackwell, Okla. He worked at George E. Failing Co., Rock Island Railroad and also for Northrop at Vance, and retired from the 45th National Guard.
He is survived by two special sons, Brandy Shea Myers of Enid, Okla., and Scott Myers and his wife Brenda of Edmond, Okla.; one very special daughter, Shannon Boler and her husband Troy of Enid, Okla.; four grandchildren that was the light of his life, Connor and Dillon Myers of Edmond and Madison and Montgomery Boler of Enid.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
