Funeral services for Wyatt Ernest Murry, 75, 1306 E. Maple, will be at 10 AM Saturday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. T. A. Chick and Dr. T. P. Haskins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home. Murry died Wednesday morning in a local hospital following a period of ill health.
Born September 10, 1892, at Balton, Texas, he moved to Beaver County with his parents in 1902. December 4, 1919, he married Lillian June Henson and they had lived in Enid since 1932. Murry was employed by C. E. Loomis Furniture Company for more than 30 years before ill health forced his retirement some three years ago.
He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and past President of the Knights of Pythias.
Survivors include his widow, Lillie of the home; a son, V. W. Murry, Houston, Texas; two granddaughters, June Frances Legate, Corpus Christi, Texas, Lois Elaine King, Houston, Texas; a grandson, Steve Murry, Houston, Texas; three great – grandchildren; two brothers, Cole and Hub Murray, Alamogordo, New Mexico.
