Funeral services for Mr. Jerry L. Miller, 22, 1918 W. Randolph, who drowned as a result of a boating accident Wednesday, will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Henninger Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Chastain officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of the Henninger Allen Funeral Home.

Mr. Miller was born in Enid on October 17, 1952, son of William Gale and Clarabell Swart Miller, and was reared here. He graduated from Enid High School in 1970 and attended Phillips University for a short time. He married the former Cindy Randels of Enid on May 27, 1973 in Enid. He was employed at Polly and Peggy's Café.

Survivors include: His Wife, Cindy of the home; his parents: Mr. and Mrs. Gale Miller of Enid (owners of Polly and Peggy's Café); a sister Sharon Kasper of Hartman, Arkansas; brother Larry Wayne Miller of Enid; Maternal grandfather Mr. Glen Swart of Enid ; Maternal Grandmother Gladys Niccum of Enid; Paternal Grandmother Mrs. Iva Miller of Enid; Parents in law Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Davis of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Mr. W. W. Miller .

Mr. Miller was a member of the Enid Racing Association and of the Garfield Downs Racing Association.

Funeral services for Jerry L. Miller, 22, 1918 W. Randolph, who died Wednesday after a boat accident at Sal Plains Lake, will be at 2 PM Sunday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel.

The Rev. Jerry Chastain will officiate and Miller will be buried in the Enid Cemetery.

He was born October 17, 1952, in Enid and graduated from Enid high in 1970, then attended Phillips University. He and Cindy Randels were married May 27, 1973, in Enid and she survives.

Miller was a member of the Enid Racing Association and the Garfield Downs Racing Association. He was employed at Polly and Peggy's Café.

In addition to his wife, Miller is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Miller, Enid; a sister, Sharon Kasper of Hartman, Arkansas; a brother, Larry Wayne Miller of Enid; maternal grandparents, Glen Swart and Gladys Niccu, both of Enid; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Iva Miller, Enid. His grandfather W. W. Miller predeceased him.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Leukemia Division. The funeral home will act as custodian of the fund.
