The funeral for George L. McNeil, 79, 110 1/2 W. Hemlock, who died Tuesday at The Living Center, will be at 10 AM Thursday at Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Spurlock will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.

He was born March 25, 1910, in Beaver County and moved to Enid in the early 1930s. He married Sada Taber on June 24, 1933, in Enid They moved to Wichita, Kansas, for a few years where he worked for Boeing Aircraft. They returned to Enid and he worked for the Enid News and Eagle as a contract driver for 35 years.

Surviving are one daughter, Donna Johnson of Enid; two sons, James P. of Pennsylvania and Larry of Enid; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1977.
