ENID, Okla. - Funeral services for Linda Lee McGolden, 65, Enid, will be Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Norris Williams officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Enid Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.

Linda was born on January 6, 1948, in Arkansas City, Kan., the daughter of Lawrence and Iowa Effinger Shrock, and passed away suddenly on Oct. 3, 2013. She was raised in Midwest City, graduating from Midwest City High with the class of 1966.

She attended nursing school and later, worked as a convenience store clerk, a job she held for over 20 years. She married Charles McGolden in Midwest City on Jan. 8, 1971.

Linda was a member of the Quilting Guild. Survivors include sons, David Shrock of Oklahoma City and Brian (Michelle) McGolden of Noble; daughters, Terri Shrock of Norman and Candance (Cory) Urban of Enid; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Campbell of Shawnee and brother, Charles Shrock of Oklahoma City. Linda was preceded in passing by her husband Charles, parents and one brother.
