David M. "Pat" McCOY, 60, Enid restaurant operator for the past 20 years, died suddenly late Saturday in a local hospital. He operated Pat's Grill North of Enid , for a number of years.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Hennenger-llen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Elmer T. Watkins officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF section of the Enid Cemetery.
He was born in Higgins, TX Nov. 3, 1909 and graduated from high school there in 1927. He lived the remaining years of his life in Enid and Woodward, Okla. except for the time spent in the U.S Navy. He was a veteran of W W II, He was a member of all branches of the IOOF, including Past Noble Grand of the IOOF Enid Lodge No. 41 and Past Grand Patriach of the Grand Encampment of Oklahoma.
His wife Myrtle died in 1965 and a sister also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Alice of the home, two daughters, Beverly Chapman, of Enid and Darlene Decker of Waukomis, OK, a son Martin McCoy of NC; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Holt.
