The Funeral services celebrating and honoring the life of Juana Lopez Martinez, 91, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday June 30, 2021 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Juana nació el 24 de junio de 1930 al señor Lorenzo y señora Leonarda López Martinez en Tengedho, Zimapán, Hidalgo, México y se durmió en la muerte el 26 de junio de 2021 en Enid, Oklahoma.
Juana creció en la zona rural de México en un rancho. En 1948 se casó con el señor Protacio Lucas y estuvieron casados por 60 años cuando falleció el señor Lucas.
En 2013 se mudó a Estados Unidos y fue cuidada por sus hijos. Juana fue conocida por ser una mujer industriosa y sacrificada, quien amaba y cuidaba a sus hijos con mucho amor.
Es sobrevivida por sus diez hijos, Eladio, Felicitas, Felix, Eufrocino, Frank, Catalina, Leo, José, Javier y Luisa junto con muchos nietos y bisnietos.
Aunque la familia está en gran dolor por su muerte sienten mucho consuelo por la promesa del futuro que se encuentra en la Biblia en Juan 5:28,29 dónde Jesús prometió “No se asombren de esto, porque viene la hora en que todos los que están en las tumbas oirán su voz y saldrán […]”
