Donna Lee Mack, age 84 of Cushing, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the Cushing Regional Hospital.
Donna was born on June 27, 1927 in Enid, Oklahoma to the late Robert and Amy Rose (Arnold-Grammont) Larkey. She grew up and attended school in Enid. Donna married Daniel Layman in 1946 to this union Joyce was born in 1947. He preceded her in death in 1951. She married Vernon Mack on March 28, 1952, to this union Rita was born. They moved to Cushing in 1987 and became members of the Church of Christ. She liked to keep up with the news. She loved to fish, work in her garden, play cards, play scrabble, jigsaw puzzles, and play dominoes. Donna loved to tell jokes and stories, she was a real jokester. She was a very good cook. Especially, she loved spending time with her family. Donna is survived by her daughter Rita Harmon and husband Allen of Cushing, grandchildren Stephanie Junger, Jessica Sadler and husband Chase, Kristen Ferree, Danny Weaver and James Weaver, great grandchildren Shealee, Camden, Meleah, Misty and Ariel, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Daniel Layman and Vernon Mack, daughter Joyce Amy Weaver, brother Orville Larkey, sisters Virginia Sliter and Roberta Caviness.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Church of Christ (9th and Linwood) in Cushing. Mr. Wendyl Heffington will officiate. Interment will follow at Enid Cemetery, Enid, Oklahoma.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
