John David Ludlow was born June 12, 1956 in Berkeley, CA, and passed away at his daughter’s house in Hominy, OK, on October 20, 2017.
He is survived by his daughter Crystal and grandkids Jordan, Tyler and Max; his daughter Amber and grandkids Nevaeh, Christopher, Major, and Rainey; and son John David Jr (JD) and daughter Scarlet. He is also survived by his sisters: Leslie, Cathy, and Julie with husband Mike; and his little brother, Greg, and wife Shelly; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and best friend Deana.
Dave joined the church in his teens and encouraged his parents and little sister, Julie, to start attending. Eventually, his whole family became members of the church.
Dave left for the Army in June 1974 and served honorably for 3 ½ years, receiving his discharge in January 1978. After his discharge, he moved to Colorado, where he met his wife. He and his family eventually moved to Enid, OK, where he worked for many years in jobs ranging from machinist to auto mechanic. In 2011, he filed and received disability and a VA pension.
Dave’s greatest joy was spending time with his kids and grandkids; he loved fishing and reading, especially mysteries.
He will be greatly missed by all of us.Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
