Phildelia Cordelia Cure Loomis
The Enid OK Events

Miss Phidelia Cure was born in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, August 28, 1850. She was married to Alvin T. Loomis in March, 1868. To this union seven children were born, two having preceded the mother to the great beyond. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, Alvin T. Loomis, four sons, Ernest Loomis of Enid, Guy O. Loomis of Perry, Otto A. Loomis of Wichita, Kansas; Court E. Loomis of Enid and one daughter, Mrs. William H. Hobbs of Enid. She leaves eight grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

She was a faithful mother and always ready to look after the comfort of others even to the last hours.

Mrs. Loomis came to Oklahoma about 23 years ago. For the last 20 years she made her home in Enid. She was a charter member of the W. R. C. No. 4, Enid. She was United with the Presbyterian Church about 16 years ago. She died last Thursday, June 12, at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 14 days.
