H. H. Lewis.72, who came from Burlington to Enid in 1943, died Monday afternoon in a local hospital. He had been ill for six weeks.
Lewis was a native of Wheeling, W. Va. and came with his parents to the Cherokee Strip and settled on a claim near Burlington.
Lewis is survived by his wife of the home at 917 N. Eleventh; one daughter, Ruby Lewis of the home; six sons, Roy, Vernon, Walter, Harry Lee, Raymond and Homer; and four grandchildren.
Henninger-Allen is incharge of the body.
