The services honoring the life of Joyce Leckie, 61, of Midwest City, formerly of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday December 6, 2017 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Rick Dominick officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
She was born November 16, 1956 to Hubert E Leckie Sr. and Floy Alice Leckie in Austin, Texas and passed from this life on November 26, 2017 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
She was raised in various cities throughout the United States then attended Enid High School. She was a homemaker and worked various jobs throughout the years. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, and being a very involved mom.
She is survived by her children, Corey Raymond, of Oklahoma City, Jennifer Raymond, of Enid, her father, Hubert Leckie, of Phoenix, Arizona, one sister, Loretta Parker, of Belle Plaine, Kansas, one brother, Hubert “Bert” E Leckie Jr. and Wife GaLela, of Enid, four grandchildren, Kimberly Raymond, Isabella Deroin, Earon Hsu, and Alex Raymond, one aunt, Miriam “Mickey” Jones, of South Carolina, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Floy Alice Leckie, grandmother, Etta Rogers, grandfather, Aubrey Lee, her grandparents, Pauline and Bobbie Leckie, and one uncle, Tommie Leckie.
