Sgt. Robert Kummell Military Rites Monday
Funeral services for Sgt. Robert M. Kummell, 18 who was killed in action in Vietnam November 7, will be at 2 PM Monday in the Davis Park Christian Church.
Rev. Bob Morehead will officiate and burial will be in full military honors in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home. The Fourth Army will conduct military rites.
Sgt. Kummell was born January 23, 1950, in Enid where he attended Enid schools. He entered the regular Army March 20, 1967, and had been in Vietnam since April.
Sgt. Kummell was a member of the Davis Park Christian Church.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ernest (Dorothy) Bennett, Wichita, Kansas, two sisters, Carla Kummell, Enid and Mrs. Arlen (Terri) Alley, Saco, Maine; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Underwood, Enid.
