Funeral for Dorothy Louise Colegrove Kroeker will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Tines will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery. Dorothy was born to Fred and Hallie (Jewett) Ledgerwood June 30, 1923, in Pond Creek, and passed away Friday, January 17, 2014, at Golden Oaks Retirement Village. Dorothy grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School and Enid Business College. She married Clyde Colegrove in 1944, and they made their home in Enid.
She worked as an administrative assistant at OSU Extension Office. She was a member of Grace Mennonite Church.
Clyde died in 1985, and Dorothy later married Wesley Kroeker in 1989.
Dorothy enjoyed China-painting, traveling, spending time with her family, and playing cards with friends at Golden Oaks.
She is survived by her children, Sharon (Jerry) McCune and John (Laurie) Colegrove, all of Enid, Lynn (Twila) Colegrove of Owasso, and Jeff (Beverly) Colegrove of Waukomis; 10 grandchildren, Kim (Steve) Ulate, Kristi (Chris) Sussmann, Ashley Schultz, Dr. Dustin (Wendy) Colegrove, Brad Geis, Brian Geis, Sherry Hurt, Misty Bremseth, Shannon Willson, and Shawn Willson; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde, second husband, Wesley, one sister, one brother, and grandson.
