Funeral service for Mrs. F. M. (Ora) Kenyon, 95, a long – time Enid resident, will be Wednesday at 2 PM in the Chapel of the Fossett Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Hedger of the Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery with the Fossett Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kenyon died Saturday night in a local nursing home following a lengthy illness. She was born at Caldwell, Kansas, in 1881. She came to Enid at an early age with her parents and lived at Waukomis and Kremlin. While at Kremlin, she was a telephone operator for about four years.
In 1910, she married F. M. Kenyon at Waukomis, who preceded her in death in 1961. After her marriage, she moved to Enid to make her home and lived here until her death. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Marie Reed, Enid, one niece, one great – niece, and two great – great – nephews.
