Funeral services for Miss Nancy C. Kengle, 324 N. Jefferson, who died in a local hospital Saturday night, will be at 2 PM Tuesday in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John L. Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery.
Mrs. Kengle was born in Carthage, Missouri, and came with her parents to Enid in 1908. She attended Enid schools and was a graduate of Enid Business College. Miss Kengle had worked as a secretary for Frisco Railroad at Tulsa, Sapulpa and Oklahoma City prior to coming to the Enid office.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Neal Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, White Shrine and Pythian Sisters.
Her survivors include a brother, Dr. George L. Kengle, Perryton, Texas; a sister, Miss Laura A. Kengle of the home; for nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two brothers.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church with the funeral home as custodian of the fund.
