In 1979, he moved to Enid and owned Bug Out Pest control company which he operated until his retirement in 2003.

In 1998, he married Rena Faye Barnard Long in Enid. He had a passion for helping others, often giving to others and going without himself. He spent countless hours volunteering at the Christ the King food bank and at the Kids Cafe.

He loved his family more than anything in the world and his favorite hobby was just spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife Rena, of the home; son, Tommy Hunt; daughters, Tammy Martin and husband Christopher of Enid, Shawna Hunt, of Enid; grandchildren, Ananda, Maranda, Madisen, Brandon, Rachel, Emily, and Kynsie, all of Enid, and Kaitlyn of Dallas; and a host of beloved brothers, sisters, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and has been reunited with his daughter Amanda Hunt Gray.

Memorials may be made in his name to the Parkinson's Foundation, with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
