Funeral services for Mrs. Phil (Elma) Horner, 69, 1514 W. James, will be at 2 PM Monday in the Chapel of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home with Tom C. Brown officiating. Mrs. Horner will be buried in the Enid Cemetery.

She died suddenly in her home early Thursday evening. Mrs. Horner was born in Jet, attended schools there and the Wichita Business College.

After her marriage to Phil Horner November 19, 1932, they lived and farmed in the Hillsdale area until moving to Carrier in 1938, where she operated the telephone exchange until moving to Okay.

The Horners had lived in Enid since 1970. She was affiliated with the Church of God.

Survivors are her husband Phil and a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie (Hazel) Painter of Enid, three grandchildren and a great – grandson. Another daughter died in infancy.
