Funeral services for Andy I. Hill, 64, 3014 N. Seventh, will be at 10 AM Saturday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Sam Heck as the officiating minister. Hill will be buried in the Enid Cemetery.

Hill died early Thursday in a local hospital after a short illness.

He was born in Chautauqua, Kansas, and grew up there. Hill moved to Enid in the early 1940s and was employed in the construction of what is now Vance Air Force Base. He and Anna Hopkins were married here March 21, 1944.

Hill was employed by the City of Enid for some 22 years before retiring about six years ago.

In addition to his wife Nona of the home, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Glenda) Holt of Enid; four sons, Donald Dodson of Enid, Jack Hill, Richmond, Texas, Bill Hill and Jerry Hill of the home; nine grandchildren; two great – grandchildren; a brother, Frank Hill of Graham, Texas; three sisters, Reta Best and Ella Foster, both of Enid and Victoria Gray of Tulsa.
