Richard (Dick) Hawkins, 101, 222 E. Wabash, died Wednesday in a local nursing home. His service will be Monday at 11 AM in the Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. L. Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of Russworm Funeral Home.

Hawkins had lived in Enid since 1919, and was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist where he served as Deacon since 1919. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 29 of Enid, and had worked for the railroad and Central National Bank.

Survivors include one niece, Ophelia Hardin, and one nephew, Richard Lockridge, both of Waco, Texas; 12 great – nieces and nephews; 70 great – great – nieces and nephews; and 23 great – great – great nieces and nephews.
