Geneva Hazel Hart, 87, 2202 W. Elm, died Tuesday at a local nursing home.
Services will be held at 10 AM Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. B. Orville Parham officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
Born on December 14, 1892, in Jameson, Missouri, Mrs. Hart came to Enid in 1900, marrying Mason Hart on December 25, 1913.
Mrs. Hart was a member of United Methodist Church for 78 years and a member of Country Home Circle for more than 50 years. She served as co-– chairman of Garfield County Democrats and managed several political campaigns.
Her husband served two terms as Garfield County Sheriff.
Survivors include one son, Mason (Bud) Hart Jr., Enid; four daughters, Belva Ruth Karns, Wynnewood, Dorothy Jean Mason, Edmond, Geraldine Rhodes, Boulder City, Nevada, and JoAnne (Jody) Bernhardt, Stillwater; 20 grandchildren, 25 great – grandchildren and one great – great – grandchild.
Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her husband.
