Burton D. Hamilton, 1814 Mockingbird Ln., died Saturday morning.

Born in Enid, he moved to Texas as a boy and returned to Enid as a young man. He worked 42 years for the Long – Bell Lumber Company, retiring in 1963.

He was a member of St. Mathew's Episcopal Church.

Survivors include his wife Geraldine; a daughter, Mrs. William (Jane) Wintermote, Dallas, and three grandchildren.

Service was 11 AM today at St. Mathew's with the Rev. Barney Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery with arrangements by Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

Those who wish may make contributions to a Memorial fund for St. Mathew's. The funeral home will serve as custodian of the fund.
