Funeral rites for Mrs. Floy Augusta Green, former Enid resident who died Monday night, April 17, 1944, were held in the Hill Chapel at Alva Wednesday with Rev. Grady Ross officiating. Burial was in Enid Cemetery beside her husband.
Eighty years old, Mrs. Green was an Oklahoma pioneer settler, and came to Enid in 1916. She was a member of the First Methodist Church here and the Merry Jane Club.
Survivors are two daughters, including Mrs. Kaye King of St. Louis, three grandchildren, Rosemary King, and Dr. E. E. King and Mrs. Nat O. Stout. She leaves one great granddaughter, Natalie Stout, and a brother, Milton Barnes of Norman.
