Funeral service for Stephanie Manon Galusha, 68, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Samples officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. She was born Aug. 17, 1944, to Bryson P. and Ione Manon Berry in Enid and passed away Tuesday, Jan., 1, 2013, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
She grew up in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1962. Then she worked at an office at Vance Air Force Base. She later worked as the secretary for the Gasaway & Mcknight Law firm.
She married Robert H. Galusha May 31, 1969; together they had a polygraph testing business. They put together a museum at the Enid Police Department containing memorabilia from the department’s history. She was very active in promoting the Enid Police Department and she wrote a book of history for the Enid Police Museum.
She is survived by her daughter, Traci Schaefer and four grandchildren Johnathon Wade Parker, Kaleigh Manon Schaefer, Sydney Suzette Schaefer and Ryan Michael Schaefer; sister-in-law, Gaye Atchley and husband Joe of Hot Springs, Ark.; one brother-in-law, Tom Schmitt of Tulsa. The family would like to give special thanks to Becky Smith for her love and support.
