ENID, Okla. — Service for George Alfred Gabriel, 71, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014, at Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Committal prayers and interment will be held privately in Enid Cemetery under the kind guidance of Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.
George was born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, on Oct. 3, 1942, the son of Alfred and Emma Biby Gabriel and passed away peacefully on May 3, 2014, in Enid.
He was raised in Kingfisher, later moving to Enid. He worked in the oil field industry, was a truck driver and carpet layer.
Survivors include his son, Darren Blosser of Woodward; sisters, Avis Buller, Rae Ann Dehdezi, Vicki Gabriel, all of Enid; brother, Mark Gabriel of Enid; stepchildren, Misty Nunley and Tracy Foster, both of Enid; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in passing by his parents; two brothers, Roy and John; sisters, Judie and Ginger.
