Military Funeral for Lieut. Farrell

Military funeral rites will be held at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel next Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Lieut. James Edward Farrell, 20, who was killed in a B–26 bomber crash near Lake Charles, Louisiana, Wednesday. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.

Lieut. Farrell was one of four men killed in the crash. Formerly of Alva he played on the Alva high school basketball team and with the Northwestern Ranger basketball team one year.

He was a student of Oklahoma A. and M. College at Stillwater when he enlisted in the air corps.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Maxine Farrell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Darden of Enid, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Farrell of Oklahoma City and other relatives.
